    Trying a different approach to the vent for diaphragm on carb. I've read that it should be run to static air ,not flowing air ,so I ran a xlg id viton line to motor box, easily disassembled if I don't like it. My other engine DA 170, just has a short piece if fuel line, 1", on it running...

    Both of those items were from the JEGS hot rod catalog. Forgot what brand I threw away the packages, sorry. Saw the same stuff at kragen for half price though.the wrap.. Not the sock that is.

    Went with this for vent/diaphragm from carb. And added a heat shield for both lines. I like it ! In motor box used a aluminum tube 1/2" long by 3/16" and grommet with a tie on it to keep the line from deforming.

    Red Aero hands down best pilot bust in the business,have one and love it. web site is up but shows most not in stock. I'd call n find out. They're a lil heavy but awesome. I use aircraft international,for IMAC there light and strong, I just repaint to match scheme.

    I have the spektrum t-1000 unit with all the doo dads, but was intending to keep this as simple as possible. Same time, I'd hate to lose her to low voltage, but I check before EVERY flight anyways. Decisions decisions.

    Thanks ! But nope I put a barstool by the drill press and drilled all 4 myself while watching the game last night, took forever but this way am able to clock the bolt heads n drill em so its more aligned, pre drilled always seems to end up wrong . Yeah, down to the details now, can't wait to...

    I'll probably be hated for this comment but... I for one would not be opposed to a small yearly membership fee (under 20.00) to keep this place growing and alive. Sorry guys, but fair is fair. I wouldn't do all this for free would you? Can't imagine a hand full of advertisers pays the bills...

    Minor changes ,big improvements. Re did plug wires and ingnition lead , forgot to wrap with spiral protectors and found red from mcmaster-carr , love that place. Should have a McMaster decal on this thing somewhere! Wrapped headers with better Teflon and heat shield cloth and stainless safety...

    A servo driven battery rack to adjust cg off a switch . moves 1/2-4" fore/aft in flight or programmed for specific locations for precision to 3d manouvers and back to nose heavy for landing. Save a lot of time getting cg balance perfect also.
