    OK, I cannot tell you how long I have been (impatiently) waiting to post in this thread! Got home from work tonight, ate a quick dinner, hooked up the trailer.......AND WASHED IT!!!!     Pistolera mentioned slips. It has been my experience that on today's planes, you do not need to be adept at full-on slips to bleed off enough speed to land if you are a little fast.     It doesn't look like you are hurting for vertical punch-out at all! Reminds me of the early days when the DA 50's were a new thing and we were putting them on the smaller, 25-30%ish airframes like the DP Extra and tossing them around like rag dolls! Good times!! Regards, Astro
