    It would be half that, it's .037" total or .0185" per side. And it would be right on the cg :D

    Cool, thanks for the reply Greg and Congrats on your fine finish! That plane has really nice lines and looks like it would 3D well also. I saw a pic from the front and looks like it's got about 4+ deg's offset, probably due to such a long tail moment? Thanks, Rick

    Proper Automotive Clearcoat is two part with a hardener, it hardens very hard, as long as it's cured I don't think it would be a problem.

    I would agree that .037" is way too much. Part of the problem is, the part of the sockets you're able to measure aren't necessarily representative of the socket as a whole and is dependant on the spars where it's glued in. Most of the fiberglass sleaves are so thin they easily flex so unless...
