    Molded fiberglass fuel tanks?

the reason they use Kevlar over fiberglass is they carry a lot of fuel and in case of a crash, the tank might survive better the crash impact, but for gasoline or jet fuel its not the Kevlar or fiberglass which is the issue but the resin being used. If you use polyurethane with either the fuel...

    Fiber Optic servo extension

The signal from the rx is encoded in electrical bits and is usually sent out to the servo where it is decoded to make it work properly, so with this said, I decoded it before it gets to the servo, with the encoder , which then sends light pulses through the fiber optic cable. at the other...

about the pinking tape, I have looked at every original photos of the Dalotel that I have , reworked them for better contrast etc, and there is no way to tell if it had pinking tape or not, so my decision is mine will have it .

    Scale 50% Dalotel 165

covering sealed on one side and I had to bump the heat up of the sealing iron so I used a variable transformer with a higher voltage seems to work

    Fiber Optic servo extension

good question, Sbus usually is used where you don't have too much room near the receiver, but also like in my case, my receiver has 8 channels for direct input, but by using 4 Sbus decoders I now have access to all 16 channels. I beleive with Futaba SBus, you can purchase servos that you program...

    Fiber Optic servo extension

I would like to expand as to the components used for these fiber optics and how they are assembled for reliability First, as I said earlier I use the very best of components, when a 1/4 watt component is good enough , I use 1/2 watt, things like this, the circuit boards are designed by me in...

    Fiber Optic servo extension

I purchase all of the electronic components from DigiKey . I use components that are over rated for the job but safer in the mean time.

    Fiber Optic servo extension

If you read up, you will see I have mentioned how to run servos with there own battery, This method and the only one , is isolating optically, while the other method the negative wires of both servo and receiver battery are still connected , and when you have a physical connection, then the...
