Thanks for the reply Rob...nice to see your thoughts...It's kinda reminiscent of the Jr Spek split. Both good radios but if you jump trains you need to do it slowly over time that way it's easier on the old wallet. I didn't know the Hitec receivers were so cheap/inexpensive I mean compared to...

Man I didn't know you were into ornithology.... you know it's been almost 10,000 years since the last Ice age and that jet stream seems to make its way south a little more each year...may be next year we all will probably need to buy a snowmobile just to get around....LOL

Just out of curiosity...are you using the JR XG11 on all you new planes and how do you like it compared to Hitec? Are there aspects of Hitec you're more comfortable over the new JR radio.

Russian plane Graveyard from the Sky - Pretty Bad ASS!

That Russian plane museum is very impressive which made me think of this YouTube video I saw of our very first Air Force One plane setting in the Arizona desert going to waste. It needs to be restored and put in the Smithsonian..
