    Help w/40 % !

    I just got a friend's 3 W Patty Wagstaff Extra & need advice with just about everything, Ha !! First off, it has Hitech 5945 MG coreless servos, only 180 in. oz. of torque. It has 3 for rudder, 4 for elevators & 6 for ailerons & some other servo for throttle. I guess that was 9 or 10 yrs. ago...

    Gosh, you're not kidding !! I'm all done with the sanding & it was just like the guy said when I sanded off the Marker ink, lots of little lines but I got em' !! I think I'm one gasket short in my gasket set though. I ordered that gasket set this summer , now have to order another set !! Ha ...

    Thanks again Stang !! I just took the carb off & the reed, I think , off but it looks so perfect I can't believe something isn't right there or not sealing. This is the pyramid shaped part with clear plastic on it . It appears to have a gasket on it, now do I remove that gasket & then sand down...

    Thanks Stangflyer !! I already installed the Bowman ring & will attempt that reed mod next & even talked to Frank on the phone ! I've been putting it off afraid I would get the parts mixed up, or upside down or something ha !! At least I have about 3 more months of winter to figure it out ...

    Thanks Gary !  That does help & we do have an ethanol free place about 40 or so miles away, so I will be getting that next flying season as I think we're pretty much done flying this year.  Thanks again !! John
