    Honestly, IMAA had its purpose before giant scale was main stream. To me, giant scale has become so main stream that it is just another form of model aviation. I was a member of the IMAA on and off over the years in order to fly at a few fly ins. I never felt like I was getting anything in...

    Good beginner jet?

    Why turn it down? Just curious. I have a K100G on my Tornado and love the vertical but normally cruise a little over half power with the occasional "Loud" fly by. I have seen people turning down the engine but not sure exactly why. Thanks, Dan

    It is possible and has been done. One of the major challenges is the lack of feedback compared to an FS plane with a pilot in it. Most aerobatics planes will actually shim the spades for aileron trim. So on a model if you did not get the spade perfect it would actually be fighting the servo...
