Twisted Hobbys - Crack Pitts Mini

Here's one of Aaron's flights from last weekend on the CPM. Nowhere near the quality of Cody's flying or video editing skills but the plane is so well designed and fun to fly... it's just sick in terms of big throws, explosive power and roll rate. http://youtu.be/cYQd_2xeubg

    What's on your bench?

Welders is better short term... it tends to yellow and dry up after a year. Reapply and fly though and your fine. Foam Safe CA is the go to for depron where you have it.

    3dhs 92" Edge 540

Sorry to hear about this Gary... don't know if it was asked back a page or so, did you sell the GP61?

    What's on your bench?

It will work fine. I've seen Aaron's 104 take off using about 12 feet of runway. The 120 is so nice.

    What's on your bench?

Never tried the 28 x 10 but if you would like to go faster, the 28 x 12 is probably a better 2 blade prop for the 120. We had a 29 x 10 and it worked well. Nicer for IMAC but for 3D, the 28 x 12 is good. I think some EF dudes were running a smaller 27 x 12 but not sure if it was a Mej prop.

IMAC learning and support using flight videos

Pilot/panel score isn't too important and rarely would decide a contest. Move up whenever you feel good about it.

    Da-120

Hope so! We thought about taking a servo out of each wing and selling them but, it's built now... go fly the thing, you know?

Extra 300S, 118" w/ DA 170/Mej 3 blade 33 x 12.5 I believe, for right now, 3 x 8611s in each wing, 2 x 9157s on elevator and rudder. Futaba 14 ch Receiver on a smartfly comp 12. Li Ion for batts so, unfortunately low voltage for now. It's for IMAC this season.

    Crack Turbo Beaver proto

Awesome guys! Get ready for some real good times. Super funny that when we were at the IMAC World qualifiers, Cody was there of course, and both Cody and Aaron were flying the Beavers in between rain showers etc, but, the IMAC community was enthralled by the Beaver. Everyone asked about the...

Twisted Hobbys - Crack Pitts Mini

We got the classic thru hole technique on the CPM running 2S 250 batts from twisted and the batt is just about 1mm in front of the carbon strip you are talking about. Can't figure out where your extra tail weight would be coming from if not glue.

In a perfect world, that's what I want the front of our trailer to look like but I would add a flat screen monitor of course for build videos and such :p
