I have been in and out sucking in all the wonderfully cool fresh air. Very windy but nice to be outside. Just the other day it was in the 80's and muggy .

Not surprised. He and Dave Patrick both have been "reclusive" since that time. Dave flew the Cub for Graeme in Top Gun. When Dave left Goldberg Models and formed Dave Patrick Models he had what I thought was a good product line. But it was short lived. I think his 42% "competition" Edge was a...

Don't think a Sig clipped wing is Top Gun material or worthy of a museum. Maybe more like Flea Market Auction or hanging up in a Bar and Grille . lol. But thanks a bunches you two:). Now that's not to say a Cub can't win in Top Gun though! Graeme Mears did it in 2003 with his PA18 Super...

They should hold fine. Will see when it flies if the time spent pays off. Must have spent 8 hours or so just working on the door and window. I use two magnets per location. There are four total on the door and two in the window. And they are very strong magnets. Cobalt I believe. I also put on...

The Cub is not flying yet. Again looking over a bunch of Cub pics and this pops up. Pretty radical Cub I'd say...... Doug is this one yours?

I have seen this very same thing. I used to attend an event called "Rally of the Eagles" and was just amazed at the models until I got a peak inside . Now there were many flawless inside and out but a fair share of them made you wonder how it stayed together in flight. A few did not.

Made a template and started making the parts for the engine air scoops last night. @Snoopy1 thanks for the complement. I'm just shooting for a decent "stand off" scale Cub. If I tried to do "Masters" type scaling I might be 6 feet under before it got done lol.

Was not implying just sympathizing....Laughter is the best medicine :spongebob:. If it were not for my starting line up each morning I might get more done. 3 of these make me very drowsey.

Tried that too. All it did was kept me in a bad mood wanting a cigarette. So I tried an alternative. It made me sleepy and not want to get anything done as well.

Started sheeting over the cabin tonight. Think I will remove and cut new cabin windows too. Installed magnets to keep the door shut last night.
