I just noticed your plane has a flaming 3W graphics on the cowl....since you're going with 3W that will save you a few bucks..hehe... Sounds like you got it all figured out on your setup Rob ... You and I think alike and yes they will fix your touch sensor wheel...I started to pull the trigger on a 18mz and I thought 3 grand and probably 2 years it will be obsolete and discontinued like the 12 and 14mz were...got cold feet and opted for the 14SG and so far I haven't been...- Mikeq

You are right...no double tap required. I just flipped thru a bunch of menus with gently rubbing my finger around the wheel and lightly tapping once to change what I want to click on...when I change models I have to hold the RTN button for one second..Dimes you may have something wrong with yours...- Mikeq

Wow I have a 14SG and never had any problems with my mine...have you got someone else to give it a try? I know mine is also very sensitive and doesn't take much of a tap to get a response. You might contact Tower Hobbies service center to see if they might get it replaced or repaired....- Mikeq

Help with making my own servo extension, question on the wire...
Cam if you have duel servos on each stab and you want to be able to remove them Chad @ taildraggerrc has these....I use them on my wings but not on my stabs since I never remove my stabs for transport. They lock in good and you never have to worry about them coming loose during flight...- Mikeq

Help with making my own servo extension, question on the wire...
+1...I mainly use heat shrink and used these types locks also. I've also seen were some people figure the length required and remove the servo wire that came with the servo and solder in the longer one...seems like a lot of trouble but you eliminate a connection...- Mikeq
