    +1...I have been using Sullivan Goldenrod and disconnecting the spring for a long time on many planes and never have had any issues with the throttle servos.

    We have a club member with the same tearing up problem and his is temperature related. When it cools down in the winter months he pretty much has to stop flying. I said something about goggles or wrap around glasses to him but he so far hasn't tried them..Oh by the way, your plane is beautiful..

    It depends on how much they shrink... I normally wear large but with cotton T-shirts I always buy a size larger to compensate for shrinkage from my electric clothes dryer.. to be on the safe side I would probably go with the triple X unless you wash in cold water and hang dry it..

    This where I stuck mine on my Yak...it's my 5th TechAero IBEC and never had any trouble with any of them..no more ignition batteries or extra switches for me... you can stick them pretty much anywhere like Ohio AV8TOR stated...

    Got to hand it to you Earle you get it done once you figure out what it is you want to do...must be nice to have a friend like Steve that can do metal work like that...looks like a manufactured extension instead of something custom made.
