My pleasure! The gear is probably the 60cc H9 X-CUB gear, which is also on my timber. The gear comes in red and covered, I stripped them down and painted them "carbon mist" enamel. 110" TIMBER Assembly Thread
Welcome to GSN Laurent!! Think it's about 6-8mm. Basically, just enough for another hole with the same edge clearance. Having a quite motor will be nice, my DLE55RA is pretty noisy. There are no cowls available anymore. I contacted Horizon about a month ago asking for any molds or CAD files...- AKNick

Hey John! Sorry for the late response. The 73 Laser is hard to beat IMO, I really love that plane. The 75 edge does track great, feels a bit looser on the sticks so to speak with it's larger surfaces. There is some room for a small cannister and maybe a pipe, but I don't think the weight...- AKNick

It's just very difficult to trim post layup and as far as the wetting it's not as spongy as glass... Would be neat to laminate it in between glass layers for strategic support in areas prone to abrasion, flexing, or impact. Composite gliders use thin kevlar weave strips for the hinge material...- AKNick

I was very passionate when drilling fence post holes to find not one.... but TWO 4" gutter drain pipes this past week. :epic: That was some unexpected fun. :black-eye: Told my wife "I could throw something right about now" her response was "do it" LOL (nothing was thrown except my motivation.)- AKNick
