I'm sure it's a nice charger. For me I'd be maxing it out parallel charging 2 6S 5000's. But if you don't need over 20 amps, it would be great.

It's neat to see something different for a change though.

The I'm going out flying thread 2016

Sorry for your bad luck.;) It's looking like helicopters for me Saturday and my Pilot Edge on Sunday. I'm looking forward to wringing out the new motor in the Edge that I couldn't do last Sunday because the rudder servo failed on my first flight.

I got a late start tonight since I had to help my brother put brakes on his Jeep Liberty. Parking brakes on a rear disc brake setup suck. Once that ignorance was over I finished up my charger case. I'm still planning on adding at least one fan, but since the weather has cooled off I think...

I wish it was a three day, I could use one. The weather here this weekend is forecast to be about perfect. Low 70's, sunny and a 5 MPH wind. Experience tells me they'll be wrong, but I guess we'll see.;)

    Servos

I have some 8611's to send in for service too. They're 11 years old, but work perfectly. I'm wondering what it's going to cost to see if it's worth doing.

I replaced the Hitec 7955tg that went south on the rudder of my Edge and now I working on a new charger case. My old case was great, but way too big and heavy. We always joke at the field that I could leave it on the tailgate, drive off and have it fall off in the highway and get hit by a car...

Larry, get yourself one of these or something similar. There cheap and can save your airplane. I got in the habit of always checking packs right before I strap them in. That way you know you put a charged battery in and not the one you just flew with. They will tell you total voltage, cell...

Larry, can you give us a short rundown of your setup? Motor, ESC, battery. Also did you check the battery with a LiPo checker to see how much capacity was left? I'm not an electric expert by any means, but I do fly helicopters so I am fairly familiar with it. They may be someone here that can help.

David do they look like this? I was getting these when trying to respond to something in Stangflyer's JTEC Pitts thread. I could post as long as I wasn't quoting something in the thread.
