    Covering Contest/Pilot 40% 122" Extra 330SC

Actually, I really like this one. I'm just having a hard time getting past the checkers. Maybe I could learn to love them?

Ask and you shall receive. You guys are really pulling through. Some really nice schemes being posted the last couple of days. I can see it is going to be a very difficult decision come the 29th. 15 days and counting.:way_to_go:

Yes it does. It kind of reminds me of the scheme that was on my 50% Hempel Edge 540. Have to see if I have a photo of it somewhere.

Ya know? You're very correct. I believe Pilot RC may take a little more time in thinking out cg on their airframes. My lil Purp, and my 100cc Purp. were also perfect out of the box. Actually I believe Baby is the only flyable airframe I own, (9) that is packin' weight in her hinnie. I...

The really nice thing about these planes is they are clean, uncluttered and simple. The checkers could be removed and the scheme would still look amazing. Added yet more to my once again ever growing "Favorite" list.

Sorry my friend, I wasn't paying very close attention. What kind of a friend am I anyway? LOL. When you mentioned your flight characteristics of your maiden, the light didn't come on until just now. Duh! Remember back a few months ago with the maiden of the new 3w 106 powered Edge? I don't...

They are definately power houses. I and my son had a number of those lil nitro guzzlers. I had a 135, 2-180's, a 210 and my 3.6 twin. My son had a 135 and 210. Truthfully, I owe my gas addiction to the high cost to run Moki's.

Taking another look at all the awesome schemes you all have submitted. Chris, dude.....you have some right smart looking rides. Doug, you definitely found an intriguing Hamilton too. But going back to the original scheme and Kelly actually hit the nail on the head a little. I do like the scheme...

I think what I like most about this one is the Charcoal and the Orange. The graphics look great too.

Now you've gone and done it. I have to add yet another to the favorite list. I am supposed to be eliminating them down to the final choice. Not adding to the selection process. Oiy!! LOL... love that scheme!!

Top 10 Biggest RC Airplanes (UltraHD/4K resolution)

Favorite? Steve Carr's 55% Yak 54....duh! LOL, Oh but wait, the 55% Valach 800cc 7 cylinder Stearman. One of my all time favorite planes. But wait, what about the 55% Challenger Pitts? And the Vulcan....and the Christian Eagle. Oh crap....I will take them all. "Gimmie the sticks, I'll fly them".

Cool The I'm going out flying thread 2017

I think I have the perfect fix for that. Take a little adhesive backed plastic strips and apply them in a "wrapping" motion from left to right. That would be "clockwise". You must do it clockwise, left to right. Right to left, counterclockwise will not work. It's the opposite rotation of the...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I knew there was something unexplainable about you I like. Now I can explain the unexplainable. A pint sized twin cylinder powered Yak-ster. Can't say that I agree with your choice of graphics but to each his own right? LMAO, I am just kidding. The "DA" powered 330 is very pretty. Could you...

    Registration of UAS

All this hoopla is so ridiculous. I agree that registration through the AMA is as important as our automobile insurance policy. But with the Gov'ment boys stepping in and insisting they need to be a part of the pie, well that really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Personally in my opinion, it is...

You ain't even kidding. I think...if memory serves...(which is probably more than rusty at this point), it had a Dubro Plastic tank of unmentionable size. After 8-10 minutes in the air, she needed to come down for a drink....(gulp) of go-glow juice. Wow, how times have changed. I often think...

ALL this talk about size and weight brings me back to my true first giant scale plane. Many of you will remember Lanier from back in the day. I bought new their 102" Extra 300. And because I wasn't gasoline engine Savvy at the time, I chose to use a Moki 3.6 twin. Talk about glow tard! What...
