    Fuel tank idea

Look at the first picture in the thread and you will see that the fittings in the left side of the tanks loop together. Not strictly necessary, but since the fittings were already in the tanks he just connected them. That way the vacuum in each tank will be equal and should help in equal draw...

IAC to Move Nationals to Oshkosh in 2017

I was like a kid in a candy store in the pits at the Reno air races in 87. More cool airplanes than you could shake a stick at. You couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting a T6 or a Pitts, they were everywhere. Not to mention the P51's a couple Corsairs, Bearcats and a P38. I even rode in an...

    Fuel tank idea

I'll second that, and the same goes for the vent side. Or as @Stickman did by running a separate equalization line between the tanks. If one is easier to draw from for any reason, it will empty first.

    Aeroworks Extra 300-100cc-QB

Aeroworks also has the best assembly manuals I've ever seen. Someone with experience doesn't need all that detail, but for the beginner there awesome.

    Awesome Video Thread

Yeah I think you'd need cojones like Batman to kill the engine for a tail slide then let the airplane fall in what was basically an inverted harrier for that long. Yikes!

The I'm going out flying thread 2016

When I was at the field Sunday I shot a little video of one of our club members Ryan Mowery flying a prototype Red Wing 120cc Slick. Sorry about the video quality I shot it with my phone.

    PAU Extra 300sp 50cc

I think on mine one of the problems was the blocks were VERY soft balsa, and when drilled cross grain they just broke with the slightest pressure.

    PAU Extra 300sp 50cc

As long as it doesn't do what mine did and knock several of the balsa hinge support blocks off inside the wing. It turns out that Aeroworks knocked a few off when they hinged it.:oblong:

    Hello from Mount Joy,Pa

Don't feel like you're the Lone Ranger. Every time I watch him fly I wonder why I even try.;) But, I still have a blast most of the time.

    Hello from Mount Joy,Pa

Welcome! Most everyone gets the jitters now and then. A guy at the club ask me if I still get nervous when I fly, I told him if I didn't I would quit flying because it would be boring. ;) In no time you and your Aeroworks Extra will look like this guy from my club.;)

A piped Rossi .60 will definitely test it's integrity.

He was doing all kinds of crazy things including some cool looking circles with the plane all crabbed over and the stab just off the grass.
