    Weather broke yesterday for a nice window of opportunity :). Beat on old "purple" and flew the QQ300. Came to an end though...Started raining again when I got home and has rained all day today. Hope Saturday brings clean fresh dry air and SUNSHINE! Hear some Noisy Boy'z coming to town...

    70cc PAU Extra 300SP build...

    I hope a friend will Maiden his at my local club field this weekend. He got a 2-n-1 and can to fit it nicely with a DA70. I don't think he will fly it like that though. Amazing youngster!

    LOL Same down here. I feel if I where living in the UK. Had a break in the clouds and just a wee bit of sunshine this morning but it all tucked and hid just as I thought maybe. Steady rain since. I'm going back to bed.

    I bet those strips are there to strengthen the ribs that have the larger openings because the material is probably "contest balsa" which is much lighter than standard building balsa. The compression damage, that you pointed out Rob, from handling eludes to that.

    Little sprinkle here too but no sunshine at all and still very gusty. Just have to see what the New Years first weekend brings :do_not_know:
