    3D Printing General Discussion

Workin on a version 2.3 tray Increased the tab height, end tab thickness, added an additional lightening hole. Now to wait 1.5hours I need a different glass bed, mine is warped, kinda hard to get the print started, but still works with a little effort and starting slow. Sent from my iPhone...

    3D Printing General Discussion

Pretty darn close... didn’t give any room for padding though. Battery kinda snaps into place which is cool, but needs finer tuning for a little padding support and my towers need to be a little taller where the Velcro strap goes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    3D Printing General Discussion

Trying to make a tray for an A123 battery pack. Took me a few hours to create a 3D model. After lots of dimensions and thoughts.... ideally it will be screwed down through the four bolts, and then one Velcro strap to hold the battery in place with room for foam and Velcro. About an hour and a...

    Futaba USA

I was in the same boat as you for a good year before buying the 18SZ, I've been very satisfied with Futaba products. My T8FGS feels a little better in the hands, and lighter. I really didn't like scrolling and tapping so the touch screen upgrade has been wonderful for me. As far as mixing goes...

This was my main reason choosing the 18SZ, however... you can buy the 18SZ LiFe 6.6v 2100mAh battery for $90 (grossly overpriced) and program LiFe in the 16SZ, and to my knowledge only external charge it... I don't think you can buy the 18SZ charger and plug it into the 16SZ charge port. The...

    Futaba USA

I would think that two batteries with dual rx leads each would be enough to carry the current load and prevent voltage sagging. This is a little off subject, but Im going to do it anyways: If each JR plug can handle a 5A peak, do the math and that's 10amp peak per pack (with dual leads), so...

AJ Laser 230z 73" Build Thread

Noted. For the ballistic on the top end... my steep climb starting below half stick position at about -40% (at what would be half stick position 0% without the curve) to create a retarded half stick position at +25% advance (the new 0% for half valve position for this linear linkage setup)...

AJ Laser 230z 73" Build Thread

I set mine up at the half stick/valve position and adjusted my end points. Created the an electronic curve to supplement the lack of a mechanical curve like you just shared. Funny, originally I thought I was setting it up wrong starting at low stick/valve position which actually created a...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I was thinking a lot about this one.... before I got the 18SZ. The shortfall was no touchy screen. This is a very capable tx though. Plus you can buy a module to use whatever protocol you are currently using I think. https://www.frsky-rc.com/product/x10s/ The MZ32 is quite the radio, from...

AJ Laser 230z 73" Build Thread

Fast rollers and blenders finally caught up with this bird. Right wing bolt support cracked! Wing moves about a 1/2” with the bolt installed. Made some thin G10 board support and epoxied it in place. Much more robust, but still flexes a bit. Went flying with the repair, and it held up quite...

    Hello from Walnut Creek, CA

you bet! I just googled the GP number and started looking. I've been the Graves RC in Florida before, they have a lot of planes. I seriously doubt ESpirit has 44 in stock, but that's what the website says... lol!

Engine selection for H9 Beaver 30cc

I would say it's too small. The beaver is actually a heavy bird with all the added scale features, a 26cc would fly it very scale in my opinion. Personally I would put a 35-40cc engine on it for a little more up and go, especially if I was on floats (will get on step faster) or with heavy bush...
