    3w 210csts reeds

Naa...that's ok. I appreciate the offer though. I would really hate for you to have to put this on the shelf and just look at it. Cuz I "KNOW" how you are about your time and all. I actually did a little work on the fuse last night. I carefully pulled back the covering to expose more...

Bull Engines BE 124 Twin Review and Testing

My son and I took our twin 124 twins out today. It was maiden day for him and his brand new Pilot 330sc with the BE 124. Nothing short of very impressive as expected. Other than the third flight, the engine died and he had to do a dead stick landing. Ah but not a problem for him. He greased it...

    3w 210csts reeds

I feel your pain. Truly I do. I keep going back and forth. I am so wishy washy right now. I want the new untouched, no...I wanna fix my big boy, no, I want a new frame. No, I want the new one...no...ugh. I'll just give the 210 to someone and then I won't have to make "that" decision of what I...

    3w 210csts reeds

It's interesting you make this observation. I actually pulled back the covering on the side of the fuse back at the aft section dead center of stab/elevators. I notice a small stress year in the covering and wanted to be sure the rest of the fuse was sound. Much to my dismay but not surprised I...

    3w 210csts reeds

I'm not sure I am up to the task at present. Maybe in a couple of days...or maybe after Tri-Cities. A new fuse is going to be over $1000.00 with shipping. The new untouched complete airframe I located with custom scheme is a smoking deal that I just almost can't pass up. What would you guys do...

    3w 210csts reeds

It really does. I think that is what hurts the worse. On the brighter side, it could have been much much worse. At least I gathered up out of the inverted flat spin and twisted her around and got her headed in at least the right direction. If I had done like I did with the 260 a few months back...

    3w 210csts reeds

Thanks guys. Just not sure yet. 67 bucks for all the free wood is tempting. But so is my pal Steve Coleman's offer. Brand new untouched custom scheme 40% Pilot Yak. Then there is the temptation of a 40 center Purple and Orange 330sc. 210csts yanking that around would be better than a night with...

    3w 210csts reeds

So I just got off the phone with the "G" man. In his opinion, he feels that the reeds were destroyed by something being ingested into the throat of the carb and then by the reeds. I did ask him his thoughts on the 32x12 and rpm. as if this would be a possible cause. He doesn't feel it would be...

    3w 210csts reeds

I hate dead sticks. Pretty sad when you have one on a big 3w210. Upon inspection of possible causes why all of a sudden this perfectly sound and beast engine just all of a sudden quit in mid inverted flat spin, this is what I found. The reeds on one side of the reed carrier are basically...

Bull Engines BE 124 Twin Review and Testing

For those interested, my 124 is still running strong with not a single issue. I still believe that if Frank will conduct business in a proper and prudent approach, one day I feel he could really make something of this engine line. Unless the need presents itself I will only be popping in with an...

Ok, so here's the deal. I have been helping a friend set up his first 3D airplane. It is a Pilot 30% 87" Edge 540. He is on a pretty tight, (really tight) budget so getting parts to get this bird in the air has been a bit of a challenge. Nevertheless, we did and it flew great with one exception...

Hmmm.....!!! What does it weigh? Engine assembly, mufflers, ignition system.
