    Well......My 25% Peak Models edge became "one" with the dirt today:dancing-poop:. Really did not like it and now that its a few inches less in length...... (ok.. a lot of inches less in length) I still don't like it. Should have gone through with the future brother in law sale:face-palm:.

    Hear Ya Bro! It will be an Oct or Nov maiden for me tho. I just have come to learn to savor all "anticipation" and be rewarded with a decent plane. Few things got to get fixed to my satisfaction but I enjoy doing that. Like "BASF" I did not make the model....I just make it better! :big-grin...

    Moki 180 (30cc) blast from the past

    18 oz tank! There was about 1/4 tank left after the flight in the video. The Moki is a thirsty brute and it was a bit rich but the engine is really just like brand new ( saw very little run time in its previous service) now so treating it accordingly. Like I said earlier....20x8 xoar 7200 in hot...

    Here is the first flight since the overhaul. Flies great. Smooth and predictable. Very scale like. Moki is a real power house. Weight at take off is 13.5 pounds.

    I got the canopy fixed (broken off retention tabs) and it fit and aligned well. The paint is uneven however and will probably re-mask and correct the outline. So far the quality has been par. Nothing more. The cut outs in the fuse for the wings are oversized at the leading edge about 1/2 inch...

    I got some vid I will soon post. You are most correct on starting. It is so easy just to flip it against compression and walla!!!:) We used 10 year old byrons 5% fuel. I was amazed it worked. And it worked well.

    Stormed over the 4th of July weekend but got to the field today and got 3 nice flights on the chipmunk. Roger flew the last two and he was grinning ear to ear:big-grin:.
