    I've got the GP61 and it makes great power, but I'm a little worried about long term service. Maybe I shouldn't be, but since the place I bought mine from seems to have disappeared from the face of the earth, it worries me. Is Planebender the only US seller now?

    $50 airframe, so it's about as low budget as you can get one.;)

    Thanks Terry! I've been leaning toward the DLE 120 for my Air Wild 35% Edge. They are known to be pretty heavy so I need the extra power so the DA120 would be great, but since this is a low budget operation the DLE 120 sounds like it will fit the bill.

    Interesting discussion. I'm going to be in the market for a 120 later this summer so It's all good info. Terry, how would you compare the power of the DLE 120 to the old DA100 (non L) or even the DLE 111?

    We had a guy with a nice ME109 loose the blades on take off. It was a scale three blade. I had forgotten about that one. The memory is the first thing to go...... as far as I can remember.:oblong:

    I started messing with heli's late last fall. I've got less than 25 flights in so far. I can hover nose in and loop and roll and things, but unless I can spend more time at it I doubt I'll progress much farther. Airplanes are still at the top of my list.

    We've got a good 3D heli pilot at our field that was a former team pilot for a couple of companies over the years. I asked him back when I first met him if he flew planes and his answer was airplanes scare him.;)

    Scale 50cc Scratch Build From My Own Design Revisited

    Tonight I cut and flush sanded the carbon fiber rods in the firewall. They turned out nice and didn't get the black dust imbedded in the wood like the landing gear ones did. I also added some triangle stock to the landing gear plates.
