    So cool...the black blob thing is definitely a true statement. Unfortunately the "ONLY" drawback of this plane. Bright sunshine usually helps in that department. Both my previous 87" and the 107" have the same issue. The 107 not quite as bad cuz it's bigger. But hey, here's an idea ya old...

    I had a similar incident with a 32x11 Falcon. Mine wasn't quite as bad. What ever it was that I did, it took about one mm off the leading edge tip. I used a really fine rasp file to take off the remaining trailing edge tip. I then sanded it with 400 grit to regain the original shape. Once that...

    Glad to hear it went well. At least you brought her home safe right? 4300 is really not a good rpm for a DA 150. Even if it is an older one, as long as it is in good condition...i.e., rings seal well, carb is adjusted good and reeds are good, there is no reason you shouldn't be getting more rpm...
