    And I'll really hop in the way back machine for this one. The first Jet I ever painted. A BVM Sport Shark, from around 1988 or so. One of Violets first designs. It belonged to my flying buddy Tony. In those day BVM was lightyears ahead of the competition. I think that one was powered with a KBV 72.

    Yes, any automotive paint distributor worth it's salt should be able to scan a sample provided by you (just a 4" square piece of wood painted with your color) and come up with a reasonable match in a spray can.
