Just a little tinkering to kill some time today. The can tunnel is not too terrible. I removed the old canister tie downs and cleaned up the junk inside. really about all that will need to be done with the can tunnel is to re-attach the fiber deflector to the insides of the can tunnel box. I...

Starting Your Plane by Yourself, 60ccc or Larger

I have never used a paint roller. I was always afraid of getting paint on my Falcon props......

I was much less productive than the rest of you. I did "NOTHING" today. Well, except flip the Yak upside down to get to the headers. Measured and sized up the custom exhaust adapters soon to be designed. I am excited again. YAY!!!!

Scale 50cc Scratch Build From My Own Design Revisited

By the way, did I miss what you patterned it after? Or was there anything other than just the image in your mind? I can't wait to see that thing done and flying. It reminds me of a Turner Special. But I think I like your cowl design much better.

Scale 50cc Scratch Build From My Own Design Revisited

That would be bad ass Metalic Red and Metalic Silver with White separating the two colors. Just never been a fan of yellow. It mixes too much with big round yellow ball in the sky.:lol2:

    Wanted 3w 212 exhaust

So I have decided to just go with the stock mufflers on the Yak. Anyone got a full set (4) they would be willing to part with? I sure could use them if you do. New or used, as long as they are good condition. Let me know what you have. Thanks....

Back on the Dalton. Yikes...still wondering silently to myself how anyone could let a plane get like this. I started with the forward belly sheeting and formers between the landing gear plate and front former. The more I removed, the more I could see needed to be removed. Working...

    3D Hinges

I've been using the flat hinges. I've used robart style but prefer flat. I like to do the entire surface. Dry fitting the hinges and deflecting the surface fully, gives me an idea of minor adjustments that are needed. I've not used gorilla glue, however many use it with great success. My...

Uh oh..watch out 3w and ZDZ

Is this 2% increase on a normal DA, or 2% across the board...including 3w classic. I would be incredibly impressed if it were 2% more than a 3w cs.

Uh oh..watch out 3w and ZDZ

Probably for the very reasons of cost effectiness and practicality. People are becoming more complacent to price and there are those that just "must" keep up with the Jones! Lol. "Well dang, Tommy has one." "So does Johnny!" "Jimmy says his is on order." Guess I better get one too. (Fan boiy...

IMAC The new Dalton 300 SP / 330

Heeeey..... wonder if he's related to me and my buddy over here. I really need to get a photo or two of my friends 47% Decathlon in his living room. He also has a Turner Special he ordered from Vogelsang. Just massive coolness right there. Looks like the weather is insisting I work on the...

IMAC The new Dalton 300 SP / 330

Cam, What an absolutely impressive and top shelf build. With the progression of each photo and description, I find myself so wanting to attack a build like this. I've not done any "true" building in years. Mostly because of limited space. But now I am thinking, Who needs a living room right...
