    EME 55, Anyone Running One?

    I am just thinking the back plates and poor grade bolts on these carbon spinners is plane poor. The cones are ok but many will recommend an aluminum back plate which can be had from TT. Like Brad said. Probably get better thrust as well.

    Less pitch for easier landings?

    Larger diameter and less pitch act like a "dish" to aid "in flight breaking". I find just "getting used" to the chosen set up is what's really best and then fine tune the characteristic with prop choice.

    For the moment....You can get a "nice" plane all rigged out with goodies and compared to costs of yesteryear it is all a bargan. First Futaba digital proportional 2 stick radio circa 1965 with tax over 700$ 700$ in 1965 would by a "lifetime" of cheeseburgers. Hell....by a nice car for 700$...

    Well after attempting the "Torque Roll to landing" maneuver some shop time and a look under the hood was due! YS and Pro Flow are looking good after 5 gallons of 30%. Replaced the tires and only need paint on the repaired wheel pant.

    I had the 777's all around on an Edge 50cc. After about 40 flights the rudder servo started jittering but was flyable. The others stayed smooth until the day it met it's end:cryin:. I never saw a smoother gear train ever in a servo. These new 380's are said to be just as smooth and even a gear...
