The FAA just "went there" NOT GOOD. ALL RC Aircraft = REAL AIRCRAFT
Need a license now to fly drones....hmmm...I can totally understand taking a Private Pilot or Commercial Pilot Written Test, but a all out license...- garlandk

Generators?
What does everyone use for a generator at the field? I recently bought the Ryobi from Home Depot. Runs great! Have not really put it to the test yet. I am wondering today if I should have just saved a bit more money and got the Honda or Yamaha. I am just using it for charging and running my FPV...- garlandk

We are trying to get the electric planes going in this next batch of items coming in. Hopefully in the near future we will see the 120cc planes back again. Not sure when it will be though. I do have the 60" prototype Yak 55 coming in next week though!- garlandk

Readymade R/C Anaconda Assembly
I tried it one afternoon late and it did fine except for the flare. Found out it was putting in the wrong elevator for the flare. So it should be a simple fix! It probably wont be as good as what we work with though ;)- garlandk

Futaba 18MZ/14SG/8FG Tips and Tricks
Figure I would start a thread that talks about these three radios. The nice thing about Futaba radios is the programming is VERY similar. Ill get it started. Made this video a while back on how to setup a timer that only turns on a few clicks above idle position on the throttle stick.- garlandk

Readymade R/C Anaconda Assembly
Here is a video of a friend of mine that is following the Anaconda. The Anaconda was flying a mapping flight plane. Basically flying back and forth covering a area the size of three football fields.- garlandk

From the beginning. How did you start flying RC?
Started going out to the field when I was 6. Granddad use to always bring me out. Started flying at 7 and solo at 8. Came home from AZ Friday for Thanksgiving and I showed my Granddad what new planes I am getting into and talked about my UAV job...he mentioned to me yesterday I came a long way...- garlandk

Yes I am sponsored by them, but the Futaba BLS157s brushless servos seem to be the ticket. Yes it is expensive, but it is sure worth it. I will be running these servos on the Dalton. I just need to order new servo arms for them.- garlandk

FAA CLARIFICATIONS...... What's legal.......What aint ???????
If I was looking to use uavs as a business I would strongly urge people to study for the private pilot written test. This might be one of the requirements I can see coming. At least if it is you will be ready for the test.- garlandk
