Restored B-29 "Doc" To Fly July 17

That is indeed AWESOME news. My First love of airplanes has always been and will always be WWI and WWII airplanes. Could you guys imagine seeing Doc and Fifi flying together? If I ever saw that, somebody would have to dig a hole in the ground and bury me right there on the spot. . . . . ...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

@49dimes bought the drill press so he could make hamburger donuts. That way he could justify eating them for breakfast too. . . . . :lol2:

    3W 110 XI-CS

Rob, I hear what you're saying, Buddy. I want to learn more about this engine too. My only problem is I cannot fit an airplane in the back of my Durango that this engine would fit in. . . . .:( So I guess it'll be up to you to tell me what it REALLY will do.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Hey Dennis, The picture you just posted leaves me with a question. can you scale the wavy flag to 104" long x approximately 24" deep with proportionally correct (length wise) size stars and the break between the blue & red/white right in the middle? It would look AWESOME on the top of my AMR...

    3W 110 XI-CS

Hey Rob, The same goes for me. This is getting more and more interesting. I'm beginning to wonder what this new beast can really do. The specs for the "normal" 3W110CS has a maximum recommended 2 blade prop size of 30x12 and the engine testing sheet snoopy1 posted shows a 32x12 prop was...

    Show Me the Biplanes!!!!

@Hinckley Bill is absolutely correct. The Solution XX is just a larger version for a 100 cc engine. He may be correct with it being 92" as well, but I don't remember for sure either.. I want to build one and put the new rear intake 3W110XI CS in it. That would be an AWESOME combination...

    Show Me the Biplanes!!!!

The only Solution X plans Dave has available are for the Solution X. I am still trying to get my hands on the set of XX plans that my friend has so I can get them scanned to PDF. You guys with all the AWESOME biplane pictures are KILLING me. . . . .

    Sport 50CC AMR STICK THREAD

Went to a brand new Harbor Freight today and let me tell you guys something, THAT PLACE WAS A MADHOUSE ! ! ! ! !. . . . .:lol2:. The trip was successful though. Everything was something like 20% off so the 79 cent clamps I wanted were about 63 cents each, so I bought 30 of them. When I got...

    3W 110 XI-CS

Hey Rob, I'm sorry to derail your thread, but the 110CS is not a new motor. My Buddy put one in his 35% Carden Extra 330 over a year ago when his DA100 ate both C clips. Gerhard has the info on this Beast on his website. www.aircraftinternational.com
