    Spektrum rx advice

Batteries don't really take out the other if one fails. Thats really a wives tale perpetrated by people making/selling battery share devices. Also, when is the last time you actually saw a battery cell fail short instead of open?

If you want Power Safe you're going to have to get a 9 channel receiver. Otherwise, two packs each into their own servo port and for that you may need an 8 channel receiver.

    help with battery share and?

Those things are a waste of money IMO especially on a 30cc Don't fall for the drivel that batteries can discharge into one another and drain the good one, that takes hours or days. 2 batteries, two switches and voila you have redundant power. Personally on anything 50cc and...

JR 9503, radio set up for a servo on each aileron

Hence, if you don't need the flap function, you set up the ailerons as mates to begin with. The trims work, and you don't have to worry about switchology :) Some team ding bat wrote up those instructions ages ago for whatever reason nobody ever bothered to do it the easy way.

JR 9503, radio set up for a servo on each aileron

On the 9303/9503 its best practice, unless you need the flap function, to turn off the flapperons and just use the aileron mate.

This really gives the hobby a bad name and some clubs are alot like this

An AMA sanction does 3 things. 1. A listing on the AMA site and if you beat the 90 day deadline, the magazine. 2. No club within (i think it's 50) miles can sanction a like event on the same dates. This keeps two clubs from having a IMAC or a pylon race across town from each other. 3...

Can I ask what about it being a sanctioned event would make it better or not? I would think it has a lot more to do with who is running it and how they were running it, than whether or not it has a listing in the AMA magazine, no?
