DX8 or not?
Need to look into the telemetry part a little more,but it will be a while. For now I need to learn mixing, never had that before. The 58" edge may be up and flying by the first of next month. Thank's to my son borrowing me a esc. It is so nice to have a radio capable of these things.- willfly2

DX8 or not?
Got some good weather this weekend in central Mn. so out in the beautiful 30 degrees I went with the DX8. Big difference over the Dx6i . It seamed much smother to me and I felt more connected to my airplane. I also liked the feel of the weight, felt more like my old F.M. Setting up my airplanes...- willfly2

Dang Those numbers 4 and 5 they are just to close together. Ya know I was typing at lightning speed, almost 6 words a minute. Ha Ha !! I was going to ask if I was kool enough to play with you big boys now that I got a big boy radio and the edge but now that I'm taking flack ???? Ha Ha ...- willfly2

DX8 only All the budget will allow for now, because I also bought a 48" edge from 3dhs. Telemetry will have to weight tell after I get motor,servo's and e.s.c. [ Something to look forward to.]- willfly2

How many years have you been in the hobby?
I'm with you on this rcdude07. Had a friend who was 25+ my senior who showed me how to build and fly. He earned his heavenly wings a few year's ago. I miss his old-school way's, but my son has showered me with so many new age things and has pushed me to try heli and 3D and showed me new thing's...- willfly2

Thank you for all the tip's guy's. I received the transmit for christmas and bought some ski's for my yak. Guess I'm going to find a plastic spoon. Weather here is to be sub-zero for the next week so building time for me.- willfly2

How many years have you been in the hobby?
answer more than 10. 28 yrs. advise; try what ever peeks you'r interest. As long as it's legal. After this long I have just tried 3D and Heli. in the last 2 yrs. and love it. I also like to build/ keeps the mind and hands busy. This hobby has many challenges, many things to learn.- willfly2
