Checkerboard Field across from Loyola Hospital in Maywood (1st Ave about 2 miles south of 290 expressway). Nice grass field. Our club just did a Carrier Landing competition this evening.- Matt Goethe

56" Laser I thought you could see the Competition scheme better as well so that is what I went for. Just started putting things together this weekend but was interupted a lot. I was thinking of putting the wheel pants as well but the grass field thing has me concerned. I just flew my 51"...- Matt Goethe

Thanks Snowdog - not a whole lot of 3D flying done at my field. Any Chicagoland suggestions for fields that fly more 3D? Kennett, MO 3D Bash might be a stretch for me now but I am considering XFC in Muncie in June.- Matt Goethe

Thanks 3DMike I'm from La Grange Park, IL and I belong to the Checkerboard Flying Club. I have only been flying for a couple of years.
