    Trailers, Toy Haulers, Etc!

Saw the little one on wall. I'd get a bigger ABC for the rear. It would suck losing the "cargo" to a fire!

    Trailers, Toy Haulers, Etc!

Great Matt. "Safety officer" reporting! I didn't see or read anything about fire extinguishers! Lots about deep cycle batts, 24v charging, jumpers, etc. I'd suggest an extinguisher at the "shop end" and in the back on the wall/ floor corner. Allowing quick response from the "business end or...

The New Sport Pilot's Guide To 3D

Doc, just found this and will share for sure. Great intro and review of post stall flight and defining XA! Great stuff.

    60" Laser-EXP

Preflight check- >battery condition and connections- check >bind- check >controls- check Etc. We all have a story like this. I try to check or double check every Flt. Especially when I'm BSing at an event or at the field. Good luck getting it all together.

3D GRAVEYARD (Post pics of the mangled old bones that used to be your Airplane!)

This for rgthd007 or anyone else looking for self video options. Comes with HDMI and USB cables. With a class 10 micro SD 16G card I can get over an hour of video. Stills available too. Doubles as wing cam too!

Hat cam man, hat cam. You can get HD versions for about $100 and stick them on a hat brim with Velcro. I'll post a pic in a minute. I use them for critiquing my flying.

Bob Bob! No brother. Please I just quoted the first post in this thread that had that line. Please please! Don't take this to heart and don't think about it another second. Lets leave the page where it is (in the past) and move on. MORE video, MORE pictures. Nuf said.

Absolutely! Gary's right. This forum isn't that rigid by any means. Please don't let it dampen your enthusiasm one bit. Should have used my new acronym "ESFH"- enter sarcastic font here!

3D GRAVEYARD (Post pics of the mangled old bones that used to be your Airplane!)

Hey man I'm not a cop! You can make up by posting one of your own pile of sticks! Lol. Just didn't want us to stray from the intent of the thread.

3D GRAVEYARD (Post pics of the mangled old bones that used to be your Airplane!)

Don't mean to be a stickler but do you have Jeff's and/ or the pilots OK to post their carnage? Or better yet, show and tell some of your own "trash"! Don't tell us you don't have any!

That's funny I was thinking the same thing. Ashleigh has enough toothpicks to fix that!

3D GRAVEYARD (Post pics of the mangled old bones that used to be your Airplane!)

Second showing for this favorite! Seems a steel light pole is tougher than the venerable EF airframe. Just a silly depth perception issue. Had the Single wing KE going for a while but the CG shifted fwd at impact and I couldn't hold the KE for the 180 turn back to land. Servos sold (3 of 4 were...

Oh my! That looks like a new fuse or lots of sticks. Sorry. They all have expiration dates unfortunately. Maybe you can find someone with a parts plane?

    35CC 3D Plane

Thanks for chiming in Matt. Matt is much better at this than I am. I'm still learning on my first gas (DLE 35) but learning fast around these guys. Get the geometry as close as you can to a smooth curve of power relative to the stick position and fly it for a while. You'll take a while to...

    35CC 3D Plane

The geometry of the servo helps limit the amount of electronic "curving" you will need. Basically, like Nate said, you need to determine where you want the power to peak. Some like the mid power to be physically mid throttle. Others like a flat band near their "hover power". Personal preference...

    35CC 3D Plane

sorry, I was on an early page in the thread. Irrelevant comment since you made a decision and started the build. Good work so far. That thing is going to haul! Have fun.
