http://www.3drcforums.com/showthread.php?t=1941 Alan, great! Your question is a good one and although my recent run in with a light pole isn't an indicator of depth perception prowess let me offer this:-P Your trying to keep a base line. Both altitude and your reference line. Visualize a box...

    60" Extra 300 EXP

Let do a good check on them first. On way to Toledo with Matt. They should be fine (I think it's actually 2 5245s and a little beefier Airtronics in tail.

    60" Extra 300 EXP

No you wouldn't lol! DOA. sorry. I looked at the video and I still am not sure why I list the rudder in the outside turn. At impact the battery may have shifted forward too much and as the speed bled off it was a matter of time. Shame since I practice single wing on the sim.

    60" Extra 300 EXP

1 EF 60" RWB Extra- Expired! Great plane but no match for 50' steel light pole at cruise! Having depth perception checked. Some parts available for salvage if anyone interested. First look (haven't looked closely yet) but left wing with minor leading edge root damage, tail all in good shape...

    60" Laser-EXP

Now we know the rest of the story! Off to Toledo with Matt! Looking for a 60". I find myself with components less one servo. BTW EFs are mighty strong airframes but no match for 50' steel light poles at 40-50 mph! Ask me how I know. I thought I'd have a nice single wing rescue video for you but...

    60" Laser-EXP

Ok, all this talk makes me want to wring something out. It's midnight so the sim will have to so. You're and animal! I love it. Glad someone can do all that flying. It shows! Keep it up. Later.

    60" Laser-EXP

I know. You are only getting 4.5 min out of 4000 TP 45c batts? Hammer time! How many servos? You slam that thing like I fly the sim planes. Go for it!

    60" Laser-EXP

You've been hammering it with big batts too. Poor baby. If it could scream it would be! That's a testimony for the airframe and the batteries. I agree with hone1er you certainly got your money's worth so far. Gee can't you squeeze anymore flying in. Slacker! Lol

    60" Laser-EXP

3700 flts! Holy *%#}! That's equivalent, lets see, to about hmmm. 20 shows per yr, figure 2 practice flts per show. That's 60 flts per season. Throw in another 10 practice flights, that's 70 flts at say 30 minute avg (practice 45 min but show only about 15 min). Avg RC Flt say 6 min so 1 full...

    Krill 35% extra 330sc

We found that out when I flew Enterprises 110" Yak. I pushed a KE wall from KE not super fast and "pop". Fortunately didn't lose the wing but popped 3-4 ribs. It a lot of abuse for the big airframes. That Krill will be a super IMAC and Freestyle plane. Enjoy.

    60" Laser-EXP

Finally finished my motor mount fabrication and replacement on the Laser. Should be as good as new. Hope to get the 60" laser and extra out this week with Matt before I hitch a ride with him to Toledo Friday.

Wow, stepping up a notch. Krill- $$$$$. Supposed to be really nice.

    60" Laser-EXP

One "big" attraction for me with EF frames. They often present at the next class of other manufacturers. You are going to live that Laser.

You will see quite a change since then. With airframe edits and knife edge swap pages for planes it's really a great tool. I run 6.5 and enjoy hosting and joining multi player sessions. You can fly with folks all over the world. Anyone on 6.5 look for "NH 3D XA IMAC" sessions. Enjoy the new...

    64" mxs exp

I have a YJ 3300 and a 3750 to try and post feedback. I hope to try them next week. The quality of the "build" look great. Connectors were all nice too. They are competing with good success with Glaciers. I trust Rob's recommendation and reports.

+1. I'm about the 5# mark with the 3300s on the 60". Getting anywhere from 6 min hard flying to as much as 8! Sport/ Acro but that's pushing it a bit. I have an alarm and vibrate but still manage to fly "through" the alarm once in a while. Having too much fun. AKfreak it depends what you want...
