    I swapped out the carbon spinner for a DB aluminum and I am still ever so slightly tail heavy.     So..... I found and just got shipped as of today a NIB RC extra's (Jim VanLoo) 33% kit. I really wanted the 30% but I couldn't pass up this ever so slightly larger one. I have a DA 50 I had planned to use on the 87" but this 97" plane just isn't that much bigger.

    It's getting close. I just need to mount batteries, install RX, and fuel tank. I think the batts are going to have to go as far forward as they can. I also need to figure out where the CG is supposed to be. I can guess but I need to look and see where other people have had success

    Had a chance to work on the yak a bit today. The motor box had been lightened and they did a good job. But I'm not fond of the idea of the fuse being pressurized in flight. So I made some templates and cut some 1/8" filler pan els.

    Finally back to work on the yak. Cowl masked off and top painted red tonight. It was 72 here today so it made painting nice.
