Twisted Hobbys Crack Laser, with a few new build tips

That battery placement is the perfect spot for my packs, the plane is so easy to fly. I don't know what weight packs you are running, but in that spot I can fly 350 to 800's and it just works. YMMMV I like the plane to be neutral and with my 350's it is dead center in that spot. If I want to...

My New 3D Extra 300 Prototype For Fly-Model

When you see this baby fly, then see the price, it will be a no brainier. As to the foot hold, Fly-Model is a huge company, Huge I say ;). They make tons and tons of models already, they just haven't ever offered a BA 3D plane that is capable of Extreme Aerobatics. In the scheme of things, the...

My New 3D Extra 300 Prototype For Fly-Model

Things are moving Nice and Slow... Ha! I know this would not be an easy task, but I am making lots of headway. Anyway, yesterday I got my first set of drawings from the factory. The factory drawings were based on correspondence via a translator, and my initial sketches. Most of my design...

    78'' Extra

If you has to guess how many degrees of travel is the rudder one way? Also how may degrees of travel do you thin the elevator allows with the linkage maxed out? I am interested in Max Degrees. I am researching various Extras and their throws.

    78'' Extra

Hi guys, I was wondering what are the Max throws in High Rate for the Rudder, and Elevator for this plane? And I know, its as much as you can get right? I am just curious what the max you can really get without it hitting the opposing control surfaces. Thanks guys, AKf

Help With Motor Timing and Poor Throttle Response (Gecko 120HV)

I have not had time at all to run the new firmware. I ripped it out and desolderd the connections. The ESC sits waiting, but I have to rear my perfectly working air frame apart to test it. I will do it but life has been super busy packing all my stuff.

Twisted Hobbys Crack Laser, with a few new build tips

I let mine sit for 2-3 hours, I used cans of soup I think. You will know be cause you want the control surface to feel loose. When mine would flap over to almost full deflection with gravity, that was good enough for me (I flipped the airframe top and bottom to check it travel both ways).
