Love it! I have a H9 P40 with a Saito 82... nitro... I haven't flown it in forever (because of the Nitro thing), but since a P40 is my favorite fighter on the WWII scene... it's my hangar queen right now.- AKNick

Haven’t tried slats yet, seems like most people are leaving them off to see how it handles without them first. With the larger tires it coupled to the gear in knife edge. 17oz tank would be plenty. Lots of variables with weight. Gear, tires, power system, and overall setup. It would be neat to find longer carbon gear to replace the stock aluminum and lighter wing struts if you use them.- AKNick

34F is usually my cutoff. There are other factors at play.... wind is a big one. I will fly much lower temps if there is no wind and little humidity. I’ll shorten my flights to about five-six minutes depending on the type of plane... only because my fingers start to hurt and get numb which makes...- AKNick

Not a bad idea. I’ve been sticking with tygon, just had a wild hair to use the matching blue line that came with the plane. The tygon is thicker too, which might help me here too. I forgot to mention that it was 31F out when I was flying.... hand warmers and a big poofy jacket. Oct was not a...- AKNick
