    So I just saw that extreme Flight disclosed the release of the new 78” extra 300 V2 this March. And it’s a full pound lighter than the previous version!!! Wow

    Had three more flights on this plane. Lots of fun. Best Knife Edge turn I have ever done... practically a full circle!! I’m getting about a 4min flight time on two 3700 6S. Very floaty. Put an ounce in the tail and it helped high alpha a bit for me. Lots of tail authority to push the plane...

    I was listening to the recording of the live turbo timber Q & A and they said the UMX timber is the best selling UMX they have. That says quite a lot. I have one and must say for a micro it flies excellent.

    They are definitely different though. The spline locking bolt and area is different. Either way, curious why there doesn't seem to be a supplier in the US.

    -13C/8F here... garage is cold!! Just came back from a much needed vacation with 80F weather. Weird to think in less than a 24hr period I went from swimming in an ocean to shoveling snow in a parka. HA! Good thing I can crank the heater and work on projects!
