    Problem starting new DLE111

Sounds like a tuning issue to me. I had a similar issue starting my dle35 for the first time. Make sure both needles are set to about two turns out. It will probably be a little rich but should run. Then you can tune it better from there. I'm guessing you have had other gas engines but I...

    Parallel Charging Pros and Cons

I also like to parralel charge so two or more packs are cooking at the same time. My paraboard will handle up to 6 packs at a time.

    Parallel Charging Pros and Cons

Doesn't there come a point where you can't fly them as fast as you charge them? I thought that was at about 5c with three packs. With all the breaks I take between flights I usually charge at around 3c. The thing fast charge rates have done for me though, is that I don't bother charging...

What a freaking day! I lost a serpentine belt about 10 miles from home. I thought oh well... I should be able to make it home and then deal with it. NOT! Battery died about 5 blocks from home. It should have been good for another 20 miles at least. It failed a battery test at O'Reilly...

I am looking at Lodi as a possibility as well. Too bad about Wenatchee... it would have been a bit closer.

I like gas and won't be moving to a lot of electric setups any time soon for financial reasons. So... more often than not I just drive 30-40 minutes to another field that has no restrictions.

It is the closest field to me that allows gas planes. But due to issues with neighbors there are restrictions on when you can fly them. Saturday and Sunday are the only full days of gas flying. I almost never fly on Sunday so it does not work well with my work schedule.

Yea, for sure. if he would have failed it that would likely have been one of the last times I ever went to that field.
