    They haven't "one designed" airframes and aerodynamics in this venue create more diversity than in auto racing don't you think? If your point is true all the times should be grouped tighter than they are. There are so many more variables. I don't think "boring" will be describing the new RBAR.

    My wife went to pilot training at Enid back in 95. Nice town. Then she went to Altus for tanker school. "Enid, not such a bad town after all. Altus, its the town we feared Enid would be!" No offense to Altus residents.

    I've been lucky in a very crazy business. I am really enjoying living out my aerobatics vicariously through RC. I always dreamed of IAC competition and airshows. Now I have IMAC and Freestyle!

    I agree. I'd put us at about 5-10 years on the young side of the club average and that's a little scary for the hobby. I bet AMA has some demographics they would share.

    Oh, the majority up here are great. I've got two retires in EF 60" Lasers one is 80! He'll maiden this spring. Unfortunately we have a few rotten eggs who refuse to change, even a little bit and they stand out. Other clubs thank goodness. I'm having pretty good luck getting area clubs together...
