    Unfortunately I was tearing down a 106 TOC that died on an upline. We thought it had went lean, but that was not the issue! The notorious c-clip breaking reared its ugly head and took out both pistons and cylinders along with a plane!

    Hey Rob, Were you keeping track of temps when it would dead stick on you? I am wondering if it may be an overheating issue. Sucks you aren't happy with it. The cool factor for sound is a 10+!

    Since I am new to baffling an engine, I was looking at your design and was wondering how all of the hot air is going to escape the engine box? It didn't look like there was enough room behind the back cylinders for the air to exit unless you have the top formed and curved to direct the air more...

    Spent the day dlying in Magnolia, AR at the IMAC contest. Then flew three more flights after everybody was done. Total of 6 flights today :-) One more round in the morning. If it goes as well as my first round today, ai may be able to take home 3rd place.

    I would think you could use some body filler and sand it with 1000 grit to get it smooth, then prime and paint. Just my thoughts.
