Scale RCM 1/3 Scale Champ Build

I grew up on a farm in rural Texas, 4x4 was a way of life. Our goal in high school was to have a truck so muddy that there was no clue as to what color it was. Nice to have if you need it.

Let me know, I have 60/61 sized engines by the dozens. Jett, YS, Novarossi, OS, OPS. Short stroke, long stroke, ducted fan. That SF is a pattern type engine and tops out at 12K (?) rpm. Something in the 18K rpm is better suited for that speed demon.

My Expedition is in for service so I switched to my mostly retired ‘03 F350 Superduty. Recent engine work (injectors, EGR valve, etc) has woken it up and it now has excessive horsepower. I’m having a blast zipping around in the 23’ long, 9,000 lb beast. One of my best vehicle purchases ever...

The Kadet was my first plane (‘82). Bill Cunningham maidened it and handed it off to me after trimming. I was shaking like a leaf. I still remember all these years later.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Visiting family and brought my 85 yo uncle something to glue, trying to keep him busy. He bought me a Kadet Mk II when I was a young teenager and I’ve been in rc ever since. Maybe I can get him to register here and do a build thread. Some of the planes in his shop are his scratch built designs...

Flying RC planes would be an awesome hobby if you didn’t have to land……. I buy used props for my 120cc planes just because I have to land.
