Scale Nelitz 1/3 scale Cub build

It has never been run as well as a nylon gear inside degrades after a few years. I believe the oil will need to be replaced as well.

Mike had it done right, removable pex.............. Radiant heat yes but what when it fails in 20 years? Well you could abandon it. Domestic water not so much. Sleeved is the key. Even copper fails under slabs. Ugly repair work.

Mike, what's the plumbing for. I do not like pex under a slab. Keep a copy of your warranty.

I think I'm stuck until my engine is returned from service. At least in the cabin area. I need to work my way backwards from the firewall so I'll find other areas to work on in the mean time.

No idea whatsoever. My experience with Cubs is that they are hard to land from so much lift. So far very little weight added. But point taken, I will weigh the extras and leave the weight discussion open for all of my GSN brothers here.

Silly work while glue dries here and there. Stuck this M1.4 screw head on this control arm. It's just glued as the main bolt is just under the white epoxy putty.

Glue drying, paint drying, moving to another area. Filling in exposed wood in the cabin. Working my way inside out......... I'll let the glue dry then trim.

Scale Nelitz 1/3 scale Cub build

Ah ha........ The problem is unless this plastic throttle connector comes off I need this rod to be straight. I can't put much of a jog in the rod or i won't be able to thread it into the plastic connector. Worse, I need to send the engine in for inspection and startup. Once i cover the...

I shifted the tank mount back closer to center and went under the shelf with the pushrod and now I have a good servo location.

Scale Nelitz 1/3 scale Cub build

The dang throttle arm is in a tough location. After multiple potential positions including hacking my tank shelf in several areas I think I have a throttle servo location. I tried here but couldn't find a servo location.
