    Finally. After more than a year of trying I picked up the big Lagun mill. Probably 3000 lbs. Unloaded it at my shop and called it a day (100 mile round trip). Moving it into the future machine room will require wall opening.

    Had to remove cowl, headers, tuned pipes just to get to gear bolt nylon nuts. Grrrrr. Made the best of it as cowling bolts wear holes in the cowling quickly so did some fiberglass cloth backside patching.

    Up on new legs. Does not look good at at but at the moment beats bottoming out on a hard landing and breaking a prop.

    Sukhoi maintenance this weekend. Swapped the 1lb heavier SUPER flexible aluminum gear for a similar sized Yak c.f. gear (only option out there after graftec failed again). Just drilled through the existing gear right into the cf gear.

    Multi neighborhood bourbon/ cigar night. $25 all you can eat drink and smoke (1 cigar) , includes a lot of shooting the **** with a lot of guys.

    Jumping ahead , I framed the upper cabin wing area today. Lots of squaring and double checking. Truly a big step in this build as a lot was hinging on this area.

    Hmm.... Appropriate sound is mandatory, no 2 strokes allowed. 2 - 4 cycle single cylinders i suppose. I'm not scratch building though, cutting is fine but I'm not designing it as well.
