A look at how I attached some of the wood dowel to metal tubing. I put a screw deep into the wood but left an inch or less sticking out to protrude into the steel tubing and buried it in Hysol. Cutting the cross member away shows the screw.- dhal22

I finally cut the cross member in the door area away. I left it there during the fuse assembly to help keep everything rigid and square.- dhal22

Slitting saw to start but arbor was too for saw so only an 1/8 or so sticks out. Finished with a hacksaw. Larger slitting saw blades ordered............- dhal22
