I've flown the 38" Slick, 48" Extra, and 55" Edge, they all fly phenomenal. Aside from the 38" (it flies like a big foamy), the 48" and 55" fly like much bigger airplanes. The plywood and full airframe design give the airplane more momentum entering maneuvers so they tumble better and recover... -

Need some advice on a new 30cc 3D plane.
The perfectly straight LE on an Edge wing is an extremely stable design in high alpha. Every edge I've flown just sits there in a harrier so it's the ideal airframe for a beginner. Not sure why you say they're snappy, quite the opposite from my experiences :confused:- Xpress

I know :) Speaking of heat guns, did more work on the covering today. She's all nice and tightened up. The turtle deck was the worst, lots of gas bubbles that had to be massaged out with the iron. I am going to polish up the covering using some motorcycle spray cleaner/polish, should...- Xpress
