3DMIKE check this out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d52gy3DqodU He used a special mechanism that shifted his flight batteries forward in the Yak after the jet was released, because of the CG change.

Usually when headers crack open or tear we like to use this stuff called "Rescue Tape" or self fusing tape for an almost permanent fix to the teflon tape peeling away. I use it on my giants and keep a roll with me just in case.

    Aerobeez "BANSHEE" 91" Slick build

Well she's been rock solid for 7 flights now. Wish I had more time this weekend to burn more fuel. One thing that I changed was I decided to bolt the tailwheel on instead of using the C-clips and axle that come stock. Somehow managed to lose my tailwheel mid flight so I had to use the spare I...

Couple more flights today. Would have kept flying but I lost my tailwheel and didn't have a spare on hand :( I still have the wheel from my crash so I swapped that in and substituted the c-clip axle for a nut and a bolt, red threadlocked in place. I was going to try and move...

Brutal... Maybe you need to 'call in sick' the rest of the weekend and go fly instead. You know, case of the blues, or lack thereof (sky blues).

My first Giant Scale Airframe EF 94" MXS-EXP

I'd say watch for sales at Servo City and go with either 7950's or 9380's.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Spent some time getting all the covering tightened back up on the Slick last night, and fitted a "free HP kit" to it (stickers).

My first Giant Scale Airframe EF 94" MXS-EXP

OUCH  I have been there and done that, but aside from being a little sore, I was fine. I think you should be OK with the 7954's on that airplane, but keep in mind it is a BIG airplane and may need something with more ponies behind it. Depending on how you fly, you might see some blowback.
