    Yes. Set screws not visible in the photos. Nothing fancy but good lathe and mill practice.

    The backplate is for a small chuck so I could drill holes in a hose bib handle that I made for a customer. Hours and hours of wonderful shop time running 3 phase lathe and mill, money spent on a chuck, aluminum plate, set screws, beer, etc, all to make a 29 cent handle.

    Finally, the 20 or 30 days of nonstop rain are ending except we are switching to full summer mode. Mid 90s this weekend and humidity will be off the charts. I may not fly until fall.

    I have figured out how to transfer photos from files to photos on my iPad as well as I paid for a photo reducer app. I should be uploading photos more regularly now. In the past, it’s just been a pain with my iPad.

    Would have been a lot cheaper to buy a 6” aluminum disc (future backplate) but it was fun making a mess. I paid for a photo compression app so my photo postings should increase. .

    I turned the blank section to .875. Stuck it in a 7/8 collet and used it as a crude rotary table aligner.
