Did a little digging. Top longeron popped loose from the former. There was another interlinking ply that had never seen glue and was popped out a bit. Lower belly foam cracked. I never did repair the other one I found. So busted out some foam tack. I’m going to add some cross bracing. Not...- AKNick

Looks like the top longeron glue joint failed because it was subject to a torsion load in which it is not designed for. It will probably end up with some cross bracing between formers to alleviate this. For sure. I’ve seen other folks do this style hard mount, but it’s not the way to do it for...- AKNick

Look at page 16, post #156. The engine and the muffler are towards the rear, so it's not much more beyond that due to the nature of the installation for muffler clearance. There may even be vents in the tunnel that I blocked the entrance off to?- AKNick

Basically a steel pin with a step in it. Pin goes through the attaching part into the fixed part that has a retained hollow disc magnet. I know... keeps the cost down I suppose. I just had a blind nut fail in one wing half so yes... I dislike the time it takes to take them on and off. The lower fuse bolts are tricky to slip in place with the XCub gear. I was thinking of glass coated foam struts with blocks in them for 4-40/M3...- AKNick
