Thanks, I'm not really sure what to think of all of this. I'm also using the TechAero IBEC, I'm not using a switch just a deans connector, one single 2500mAh A123 with two HD rx input servo wires Y'd off to a single deans for the battery connection. OK there you have it from the pros! It's possible that the airfoils I have flown have a thin symmetrical airfoil with a heavier wing loading which would make any aircraft snappy and even worse stall (snappy) tendencies at high alpha. So trust @Xpress who have flown probably a lot more Edge540s...- AKNick

nice. I haven't flown the EF74 edge, but with most Edge540's I've noticed them to be snappy, whereas a slick tends to have a little better characteristics for the novice (more forgiving) and expert flyer. just my $.02 Maybe someone can shoot that thought down or confirm it? Fly a Negative Snap from an Inverted Climb

Yeah I've heard of the slop at center, but most 3D planes don't fly at center or high speed. I have also heard that most of the slop goes away after they warm up (gear lash). No such thing as a free lunch with cheap servos... unless you are @49dimes ;). I cant speak too much since I have a set...- AKNick
