    The other side of the strut. Had to make a jig for the butt joints. Pre soldered the rod ends. Work in progress. I'll finish it another day.

    More landing gear work. Decided to drill the solid rods of the center cabane strut, I figured easier than butt joining the perpendicular parts. Then turned 3/16 rod until it slipped in. Easy solder joint.

    Yes on slitting saws, found them on eBay. No arbor yet, might make that a lathe project.

    Initially I did not like Goose Island but end up at sporting events with no other option and decided it was better than I thought. I will try that one when I see it.
