    There's a lot of cheap tools that work fine in our light duty hobby. Harbor freight belt sander works fine on balsa and light ply but when you get close not so much.

    More pond flying today. Had to hurry as winds picked up substantially later in the day. 3 batteries worth, mostly just touch and goes. Very cool to fly on water. More please.

    Happy Thanksgiving

    I'm fortunate enough to still have both parents and one of them loves to cook, especially on thanksgiving. Tables full of food, all homemade. The biggest issues this morning are justifying pie for breakfast and then which one. :ugh!:

    Yes on clipped wing. Started out with a light wind and it got windyer. I was taking off later in the day in a couple of feet. Definitely not scale flying. A different way of hovering as I had it at zero ground speed many times.

    Put my little Eflite 1.2m Cub on floats and flew a good bit on my uncle's pond yesterday. First time ever flying on water, what fun.
