    Not a Pilot plane. Their logo is etched inside as well. Also, I 've never seen control horn backing plate on a Pilot.

    I've forgot to balance a 25% Cub last year, damn that plane would hover easily. In hindsite I should have tried to land like that as a conventional landing didn't work.

    No mufflers for me, cans are so much quieter. My 3W powered plane gets quiet compliments regularly.

    I was looking at my elevator halves being slightly out of even when in high rates and fully up or down and I remembered that I need to buy angle gauges. Finally got around to buying some. They look pretty good. . .

    My favorite engine is a YS .60 short stroke or the Jett .60 LX. Astonishing power and rpms, both with instantaneous throttle response.

    Not much a smoke fan. Of course I can't fly good enough to justify using smoke. Now a good cigar while I'm at the field is another story.

    This is exactly how it will go down. The gov't will offer the AMA a deal or 2 then the AMA will start the requirement to earn the rights to the deal. Federal highway money is the best example.
